Fees

Autism Assessment — £1,750

Includes the full assessment pathway, multidisciplinary review, feedback and written report.

The purpose of the assessment is to determine whether your child meets the diagnostic criteria for autism. An assessment does not guarantee an autism diagnosis. The conclusion is based on all the information gathered during the assessment and the multidisciplinary clinical review.

Areas parents may notice

Communication & Social Interaction — differences in back-and-forth conversation, understanding social situations, friendships or the way a child communicates and interacts.

Routines, Interests & Behaviour — focused interests, preference for routines, difficulty with change, or repetitive movements and behaviours.

Sensory Differences — differences in responses to sound, light, touch, smell, textures or foods, or sensory-seeking behaviours.

Everyday Life — differences may become more noticeable at nursery or school, in social situations, during changes, or as expectations increase.

When an assessment may help

An assessment may be helpful when developmental or behavioural differences are affecting everyday life, or when concerns have been raised by parents, school, nursery or professionals. Assessment can help clarify the child’s profile, strengths and support needs.
